Give every field service business
the operations team it deserves.
Most field service businesses run hard on thin margins, with planners doing work that systems should handle: chasing completion records, rebuilding schedules after changes, discovering SLA breaches after the fact.
We built TotalCtrl to change that. Not by adding features to a generic platform, but by building an AI operations layer, Jerrold, that understands how field service actually works and actively helps run the operation.
“Competitors build AI features. We build AI operations. That’s the difference between a dashboard and Jerrold.”
20 years.
One industry.
One focus.
Everything we’ve built has been for field service businesses. We haven’t diversified. We haven’t pivoted. We understand this industry because we’ve worked in it for two decades.
Clockwork IT is founded.
Clockwork IT is established with a single focus: operational software for field service businesses. Not generic workflow tools repurposed for the industry. Software built from the ground up around how scheduled and reactive maintenance work actually runs.
TotalCtrl is built.
After years working directly with grounds maintenance and facilities management businesses, the team builds TotalCtrl: a platform that connects quoting, scheduling, job management, field compliance and invoicing in a single operational system. No rekeying. No gaps.
Banyan Software invests.
Banyan Software, a long-term operator of mission-critical business software with $1B+ annual recurring revenue across 150+ companies, acquires Clockwork IT. Their model is buy and hold: they invest for the long term, not to flip. For TotalCtrl customers, this means the platform will be here in ten years, actively developed.
Jerrold goes live.
After two years of development informed directly by customer operations. Jerrold launches with 33 operational tools active from day one. Not a chatbot. Not a dashboard assistant. An AI teammate that monitors your business continuously, briefs your team every morning and actively helps run the operation. The product we've been building toward since 2003.
